Everything that shipped.

Every version, every change — chronological and honest. New, Improved and Fixed, the way good patch notes should read.

v1.4.0

“Gridwork”
  • NewGrids tool: rectangle, circle, polygon and hex layouts with masks, incremental rotation and surface projection
  • NewNumeric entry accepts comma as decimal separator everywhere (numpad-friendly)
  • ImprovedContent browser thumbnails stream in faster in the background
  • FixedScatter baking around water bodies on steep shorelines
More details

The grids tool grew out of a single request: build a plaza without placing 200 tiles by hand. It now covers rectangles, circles and polygons with an adjustable side count — six sides give you hexagons — and projects onto any surface, with masks cutting cells cleanly at the edges.

v1.3.0

“Species”
  • NewSpecies grouping: bundle assets into groups with their own clustering rules
  • NewAvoid/Attract relations between species (proximity masks)
  • ImprovedReworked scatter controls with drag painting and wheel resize
  • ImprovedSliders respond with Ctrl/Shift speed modifiers
More details

Species turned scatter from a random sprinkler into something that understands your scene. Avoid and Attract relations mean mushrooms cluster at trunks while paths stay clear, without a single manual placement.

v1.2.0

“Million”
  • NewContent browser for 1,000,000+ assets: virtualized results and local index
  • NewThumbnail pipeline with persistent cache
  • NewAI tagging (opt-in)
  • ImprovedSignificantly lower memory use with large libraries
More details

The content browser was rebuilt from the ground up around a local index. Results are virtualized, thumbnails stream in from a background pipeline, and the whole thing stays smooth well past a million entries.

v1.1.0

“Measure twice”
  • NewMeasure tool: point-to-point, chains and minimum distances with snapping
  • NewNamed measurement list with numeric entry
  • ImprovedGuides vanish without residue when leaving the tool
  • FixedEditor overlay stability when switching viewports
More details

Measuring used to mean leaving the editor. This release brought point-to-point, chained and minimum-distance modes with snapping to vertices, edges and the grid — and guides that disappear the moment you switch tools.

v1.0.0

Launch
  • NewFirst full release for Unreal Engine 5.3+ and Unity 2022 LTS+
  • NewSurface Scatter with density, slope and height masks
  • NewMesh blending with adjustable blend distance
  • NewShared core: presets transfer between both engines
More details

The first stable release after eight months of beta feedback. Surface scatter and mesh blending shipped for both engines on a shared core, so presets move between Unreal and Unity untouched.

v0.9.0

Public Beta
  • NewFirst public beta for Unreal Engine
  • NewBasic scatter and blend prototype
  • NewFeedback program launched with 200 testers
More details

The first public beta went out to 200 testers. Rough around the edges, but the core idea — scatter that respects slope and height instead of sprinkling at random — was already there.
